Would give no stars if I could. This outfit should be shut down typical small town insurance company tactics using threats, delaying payments and down right rude employees. Shop elsewhere for insurance.

Security Mutual is a company waiting to short change its customers whenever possible . They use adjusters that provide weak repair estimates and delay making payments on claims. Please do your self a huge favor and steer clear of Security Mutual and find a better insurance company for your home owners insurance. 2014.

This company is terrible to deal with. We have been trying to settle our claim with them for over a year. You can't get any response to phone calls oremail'ss. They screwed us on the first part of our claim and are trying to do it again on the replacement cost part. I can't wait to be done with this company!!! If you are insured with them I would take my money and run!! Because you are going to have to fight for every cent if you ever have to make a claim!! Thats if you ever get to talk to anyone on the phone!! This company is VERY unprofessional!!!! They don't even deserve 1 star!!!

Seriously? they have been in busines since 1887 and your upset over 6 complaints? Better take a look at the huge companies complaints. Wow.

An awful company with a poor reputation of customer service and not accredited with the BBB.In fact in the last year they have 6 complaints and I implore you to read them it will be worth while if you are thinking of using this company. They have a history of screwing people over and delaying payments for damage. I'm not a former employee or have any relationship with this company just a homeowner who was bent over and stuck hard by this little mom&pop outfit.
