Dr. Wych is a 'dentist's dentist' - he not only treats his own patients, but he is a teacher and mentor to other dentists. Dr. Wych graduated from the Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry in 1984, and has been practicing the art of dentistry for more than a quarter century. His dedication to the field means that while dentists are only required to do 14 hours of continuing education a year, Dr. Wych averages over 150 hours a year. In his career he has done more than 3000 hours of continued education, holds master credentials in laser dentistry and was the first to bring CEREC (CEramic REConstruction) to Columbia. A graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute, and visiting faculty at the Scottsdale Center for Advanced Dentistry, Dr. Wych is a respected opinion leader in his field. When it comes to cosmetic dentistry, few possess his breadth of experience or his subtle eye for beauty or proportion. Dr. Wych embraces natural solutions and is a trailblazer in stress-free, painless treatment, and is an advocate for amalgam-free (without mercury) fillings. Dr. Wych has been named a Top Dentist in the "Guide to America's Top Dentists" by Consumers' Research Council of America this year and for past years. He was one of Columbia's top dentist according to Columbia Magazine. He is also recipient of Irmo Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award.
