I live in Desert Fountain Apartments and recently had my apartment flooded by the neighbor. They were prompt but that is were the customer service ended. There were 2 men that arrived with a vacuum and blower. They did one pass with the vacuum and said that was sufficient enough and that he got all of the water out. Leave the blower on for the next few days and it will be fine.

I inquired about the possibility of mold or bacteria and he assured me that there wouldn't be any. "I've been doing this for years now", he said condescendingly.

He left, I called the property manager and left and message and within seconds of hanging up he was back again at my door telling me that the manager called him and told him to cut out the carpet to prevent any mold, which was exactly what I said. He cut out the carpet which was still soaking wet and dripping over the rest of the unaffected carpet as he carried it out the front door and then proceeded to take the blower saying that now that the wet carpet was out that I didn't need it. The concrete floor btw was still soaked and a couple of puddles were still present. I speak both english and spanish and attempted to speak to them in both languages and still experienced a communication barrier. I think it is just a matter of either they just don't have anyone there that has an education or worse they are and just don't care about their customers. SAD :(
