      General Info
      Dr. Abbott completed his undergraduate training at DePauw University. He received his medical degree and completed his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He went on to complete a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas. Following fellowship, he was an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Abbott is board certified in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS), Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA), Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), and the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA).Dr. Abbott's treats all aspects of pediatric orthopedics with clinical interests in spinal deformity, hip disorders, lower extremity disorders, and pediatric trauma.
