I absolutely LOVE this store! I usually find way too many things that I want. I really enjoy my visits. I have purchased decorative items, jewelry, purses and furniture before. Unlike other reveiwers, I have never met any rude employees there. Everyone has been very friendly and knew their stock well when I inquired on a specific item. Consignment shopping is fun, its like a treasure hunt!

After looking at retail furniture stores, I went to Consigning Women in Indy. Wow! 3 quality pieces of furniture - sofa, nice comfy club chair and a Barcalounger (yes, leather Barcalounger) - for $1000 dollars. The Barcalounger alone retails at $1100. Minor flaw on the lounger, but the sofa and chair are perfect. I use to think the prices were high too, until I compared apples to apples. Great selection and prices.

Read other comments. If you can find Baker, Henredon,Hancock and Moore Leather, or other high end product at these prices, man let me know. I have been a buyer and a consigner for over 5 years and I have never felt disappointment in any purchase. This is a great store. I never pass by without stopping.

Prices too high. Although it is a consignment shop, employees could be more helpful.

I used to love this store & made a point to go there every other week or so to see what great finds were there. But I've noticed the prices have gradually gone up and I have not found anything at a price I was willing to pay for a long time. It's just not fun going there any more.

Most prices are too high, comparatively to other consignment shops. To top it off; the 2 ladies were very rude and had no desire to provide assistance, as this would have distracted one of them from her solitaire game while several people were trying to check out.. The gentleman was kind and did offer help.

I felt as a customer with a question I was a bit of an inconvenience to the employees. I found a desk that was $550 - same desk new was $650. Not great pricing, but good selection. I won't go out of my way to rush back. Better pricing and friendlier service other places. In this economy, they won't win any new customers.

The furniture was in good shape, but could practically buy everything new for the prices they were offering. The ladies were not busy when we came in but did not attempt to greet us. Later we had a question and had to wait until a personal phone call was completed. We asked to use a tape measure and were received with a sigh. Very rude. Very unprofessional. This store is not for the "common folk". We won't be back.

I can always find something to buy.
