Just to let anyone know, if you have a free service (buy 5 services get the 6th free) you need to call and make an appointment from Sunday-wednesday. Their staff neglected to tell me on my 5th service assuming I could be a walk-in on Thursday. I was assuming I could use my free service (buy 5 services get the 6th free) the lady looked at my card and told me someone should have marked my card to make an appt. And they didn't. She also showed me past cards and their appt. book. She then told me I still had to pay full price. I didn't create a scene because my braids took 3 1/2 hours to complete and they looked great. Thank goodness I had the money to pay just in case.

They are never on time. I always make an appointment and they are always at least a half an hour late. They do good work ( most of the time). This past time I was highly dissatisfied with the kinky twists that I got. This was my free session (5 visits and get sixth one free) and they look like someone did them for free.

Going to Braids Land, give me a down home feeling. I love how they make you feel relax and at home...The lady's will do any type of cornroll design's you ask them for. If you don't have one of your own. They will come up with one for you....

The Good: My braids were adequate when completed. They were done at the relatively cheap price of $180 and it took them seven hours (average) to braid my hair.The Bad: These women were rude when you asked them simple questions, spoke loudly to one another and allowed for their kids to freely roam the shop.The Ugly: There was literally a mattress on the ground near the back. The lights in the bathroom light didn't work and the television was sketchy at best which meant my entertainment was the view outside.Suggestion: They should hire an electrician and get a license if they want to run a daycare.

I have been going to Braids Land for about 2 years now. Mary, Hawa, and everyone that helps Mary out is very nice. They do an awesome job braiding hair in any style you want.

I receive micros from Braids Land and everybody is so friendly they make you feel welcome, and most of all they really do a good job.I recommend them 100 percent to everybody.Good job girl you are number 1.
