I have taken many different vehicles to Maywood Transmission over the years, and have always been very happy with their work. They are extremely knowledgeable and always found the "real" problem, so I didn't pay to fix things that didn't need fixed. They have excellent technical knowledge, and they seem to keep up with the latest technical information on all cars. They have serviced my vehicles, ranging from 20 years old to brand new, and they have always done good work on every issue, major or minor. I highly recommend them.

These guys can do it all. They have done everything for me from minor repairs to a full build on a off road Jeep where the only thing left stock was part of the tub and the frame. I have always found them to be extremely honest in their dealings with me and have never had an issue with any of the work they have done. Several years ago I took my '89 Town Car to this place to have the transmission replaced. They charged me almost $1800 for a complete rebuild. Several months later after the warranty expired the transmission started slipping again and I took it someplace else to have it looked at and ended up having to replace the so called "rebuilt" transmission they put in. The shop that finally repaired it told me that they cracked the bell housing and reused some of the old parts, which were original to the car, instead of replacing them because they were to worn to be reused. I will never do business with this place again.
