We went on a Saturday night around 7pm. Seated right away and waited 15 minutes for a waitress, 15 minutes longer for water and to take our order. Waited 45 minutes more for dinner pork chops and pancakes. Tables around us were experiencing the same poor service. When I asked if this was normal the waitress smiled and said she doesn't work nights. A table with children waited 45 minutes for pancakes. Mediocre food, poor service, won't go again.

We have heard many great things about Smitty's since having moved here, so today my boys and I went. We all ordered breakfast and it was wonderful! The blueberry pancakes were outstanding! The biscuits and gravy were hearty (and abundant)! ...and the French Toast was ever so tasty!!! All orders were way more than we expected! Service was with a smile and prompt. The storefront and interior were immaculate (yes, I did check the bathroom)! Best of all the prices are right and the decor is unique (see my picture of their interior). We definitely will return!!!

Oh my gosh! I LOVE breakfast and I have eaten at Smitty's since the mid 70's. I have NEVER had a meal at Smitty's that wasn't excellent! The crepes suzette are to DIE for, the hamburger steak and eggs--delicious, the blueberry pancakes can't be beat, and even the PLAIN buttermilk pancakes melt in your mouth! I just wish I could figure out the recipe for anything there! Service is excellent as well. I just can't say enough great stuff about this restaurant. Definitely worth a stop!
