I recently discovered I owed this company for a collection that I thought was paid. After reviewing the debt and looking at my credit report, I discovered their information wasn't accurate. When I asked them (Marla) to change it, she refused. She refused to take the information off my credit after paying it (even though they have the option) and communicated it in an unprofessional manner. Their reporting on my credit report indicates I have been deliquent for almost a year; however, that is not the case. When I asked for infomation to be sent to me showing this, they sent me a letter on their letter head stating I owe them money. It was a paragraph. I asked for an itemized statement which I assumed was my right. The woman I spoke to on the phone (Marla) was less than helpfull. After paying the debt, I expected them to report it to the credit company. I asked their procedure and was transferred again to Marla. she stated that they report payments to the credit companies at the end of each month. My check was cashed on the 15h of October yet they reported my payment to the credit company on November 11. When I asked why they waited an extra month to report that I paid the bill and why it was reported in the middle of the month as opposed to what she stated, Marla became short and pawned the reason off on some other employee who did not do her job. It clearly didn't matter that I paid it and it clearly didn't matter about my credit report. I paid the debt the same month I found out about it, but the company fails to rectify the info on my credit report in as timely a manner. Not only are their practices shoddy, but I could almost assume that because I made waves by arguing the lenght of time I was deliquent and requesting the debt info (which was never sent) that they purposely waited longer to fix my credit. This company doesn't have a tangible product to review or serve the general customer with, so it's impossible to refuse their business; however, the debt incurred from the original businees will never get my business again for using this company. I will also update other review sites with the same information in hopes that a company looking for a debt collector will pass on using this poorly led company. I have also filed a complaint, prior to this submission, with the better business Bureau. In this economy, it's a mistake to treat people this way and I will make sure I share this with as many people as possible.

To whom it may concern:



We just dealt with Mrs. Warren. It was not a pleasant experience. We are trying to help some customers with purchasing a home. They had fallen on some hard times and have been working very hard to get back on their feet. They are not the scum of the earth and should not be treated as such. We simply asked for a letter showing the payments they have made the past year and on time I might add, and we were totally shut down. I guess it is not in Mrs. Warren's job description to be nice and helpful to people who are really trying to get back on their feet and get on with their lives. Very dis-heartening!! These are good people and deserve to be treated as such.



We understand that there are people out there that have given people like this a bad reputation. But as a human being, you DO NOT treat people the way she does. As a business owner, and as a person who LIKES to help people, no matter their so-called status on CSR. These are people with different life situations.



We would appreciate a prompt reply to this very disturbing matter.
