The Hurricane City Police Department works to provide law enforcement services and ensure the safety and security of citizens. It is comprised of more than 15 full-time sworn and reserve officers. The department operates an animal shelter that relocates missing and stray animals, as well as supports the registration of pets. The Hurricane Police Department offers information related to crime prevention and car and bicycle safety. It hosts neighborhood watch and scouting programs, as well as conducts community awareness presentations. The department provides parade permits and copies of police reports. The Hurricane Police Department also organizes National Night Out and child identification programs. It is located in Hurricane, Utah.
