Installed my TKR which failed immediately. Ultimately told by their surgeon he could see nothing wrong and "we do not treat pain." Really, if one is an excellent ortho, what is he or she doing in Huntsville? Go to Vanderbilt or UAB if you need orthopedic surgery!

Don't go there! The Fitness Center at SportsMed will probably be closed within 6 months. Went in today to find out that for some reason director of the center that everyone really liked and replaced her with the night manager that 95% of the members can't stand. I don't know his name, he hardly talks to anyone, he has the personallity of a stick but nowhere near as smart as one. I've heard some of the member call him Chap Stick because he is so busy kissing upper level managements butts. For any current members it is time to find a new place to workout and get out of SportsMed Fitness while the getting is good. I will be canceling my memship this coming week. To SportsMed's upper management, I don't know why you would do something this stupid, if you are trying to lose business by running off members, then keep up the good work. If you want to keep members and increase business then you screwed up!

My wife Peggy and I have been members of the SportsMed Fitness Center since the summer of 2009. My wife had broken her hip and was in SportsMed Physical Therapy. When her therapy ended when Medicare coverage stopped, she was told she needed more therapy and training and they introduced us to the SportsMed Fitness Center. All of the staff took a personal interest in us and showed us all of the equipment and how to use it. My wife has a personal trainer from the Center who has worked with her in gaining her balance, strength in her upper body and legs. It has been a wonderful experience for us and we will continue as long as our physical conditions allow. The center provides Cybex equipment, free weights, step aerobics, cycling classes, Turbokick, sculpting, YogaFit-style, free child care, free lockers amd showers. We have been to other fitness centers but only SportsMed Fitness Center gets our 5 Star rating. (James)

The classes are awesome. This is the only place I know of where childcare is provided and classes are unlimited. I love that I can take a shower after my workout while they watch my kids, and they like being there too! Very friendly staff.

I especially dig the muted green logo, and understated font.
