I recently finished my one year lease with Rosenblum Realty, and I had a great experience with their company. I was a little surprised to see the review below about the person who had cleaning deductions taken from their deposit. I did the cleaning myself and got a full refund. I followed their cleaning list that they gave me and performed all of the aspects from cutting my grass one last time, and cleaning the inside from baseboards to ceiling fans. The day after I dropped off my keys, I actually received a call from the property manager who called to thank me for leaving the home so clean. He actually asked me where my family’s favorite restaurant was so that he could send me a gift card to take my family out to eat. I have been a renter most of my life and I have never received a call like that from my property manager. I will definitely refer anyone I know to Rosenblum Realty for renting or buying.

Don't count on getting your deposit back. I had a cleaning crew come in prior to my departure and they still charged me $350. They will not allow you to accompany them on the walk through so you're at their mercy for the reconcilliation. They kept over $1,000 of my $1,700 deposit.

I have been renting homes most of my adult life being in the military, and Rosenblum Realty is a top notch real estate firm. I relocated here to Huntsville several years ago from Illinois, and needed a rental home. I leased a home from their company for about two years before I had to relocate again. I wanted to ensure I received a full refund of my security deposit, so I contacted their office and they sent me their moveout punch list (which I had forgotten I had already received with my lease when I signed it). I simply followed the cleaning punch list, and was mailed my full refund a couple of weeks after my move out. I was very impressed with the way their company was so professional. I would recommend Rosenblum Realty to anyone needing a rental home, and had I stayed in Huntsville longer and I have no doubt I would have used their company to purchase a home.

I suggest you find a company that believes in customer service,these folks act like you owe them something. This realty company is the worst low budget if ever i have seen one,the agent was terrible paid no attention to me at all,had other things going on and i know i counted at least 2 phone calls during my 10 minute walk of the property.

We leased with Rosenblum Realty for a little over 3 Years. We had a few maintenance issues that came up along the way, but their staff always had someone to the home very promptly to make a repair. Our ultimate goal was to buy a home, and we never thought about using anyone other than a Rosenblum Realty agent to help us with that process. We cannot say enough good things about Rosenblum Realty and our experience with them since we moved to the Huntsville area. We recommend this firm to anyone looking to rent, buy, or sell their home!

Great property management company! We rented from them for almost 4 years and had nothing but a great experience. We had very few issues with the property and they were eager to help us when needed. If we ever need to rent out our current home we will definitely use Rosenblum.

Rosenblum Realty has received the Small Business of the year award and holds the Best in Business Award among all local realty firms. They have served Huntsville since 1957 and are one of the oldest and most respected realty firms in the Huntsville area.

Rosenblum Realty with the Better Business Bureau of North Alabama and holds their highest rating.
Property Management is an inherently difficult business. Especially in working with tenants of the few low and moderate income properties we have. Often these tenants have little regard for the property they are renting.
Each tenant is asked to fill out a move in checklist noting any damages, repairs needed or cleaning that was missed. When the tenant move out we inspect the property using the tenant’s own move in checklist as a comparison of the property condition. Often properties are left in very poor condition and the tenant demands the return of their full deposit.
If there are repairs needed or cleaning required because the tenant abused the property, we cannot expect the owner to pay those costs. It is not uncommon for tenants to abuse a property to the point that carpets must be replaced and extensive repairs made. It seems that the tenants who are the most abusive to the properties are the most vocal and vehement in their complaints.
I do recall the lady who complained in this forum about her application being declined because of her pets. While she portrayed my colleagues as “morons” we did treat her with respect. Pet policy is set by the owners of each of the almost 400 properties we manage. On properties that do allow pets we contact the owners for their approval.
Her application was not denied based solely on her dogs. Her credit rating was poor and she received negative comments for her current and former landlords.

Rosenblum Realty was an excellent company to rent from. The rental was in good condition. We maintained the home very well and in return we were refunded all of our deposit. If we ever had any problems, they were always quick to respond. I would definately rent from them again.

We rented on Sandywood Ct for a period of time, rental was is good shape excellent location and the best was the reasonable price of only $950 per month for a 1850+ sq foot house plus garage! Before Rosenblum I looked at all the major apartments and found for $1200+ at them you got less square footage and no storage! Dealing with Rosenblum was a breeze and we ending up leaving several months before our lease agreement and they let me out of the lease term plus they gave me back 1/2 the security deposit! I have moved 17 times and have never received this and was really appreciative and would rent/buy with Rosenblum again! We took care of the rental and the end Rosenblum took care of us!!

I rented from this property management company, and I moved into a filthy house (I toured it with no power so it was difficult to tell in low lighting how dirty the place was-my mistake). I had everything re-cleaned upon moving in, and I painted. I moved out completed the cleaning checklist, and still got assessed carpet cleaning fees and 'professional cleaning' fees. The professional cleaner is one of their rental agents by the way. Called the rental agent at least five times with no answer. Once, I left a message still nothing. There is nothing I can do at this point except leave a bad review and hope you don't experience the same issues. Thought about hiring a lawyer but it's just not worth it and the rental company knows it.

Rented through Rosenblum for several months. After vacating the property I cleaned the apartment to better condition than what I received it in (it was dirty when I received possession). I got charged for a cleaning fee! I even documented on the move-in report specifically what was dirty. The report was obviously not read when Rosenblum was conducting the check out report. I was charged for cleaning the apartment even though it was cleaner than when I moved in. When I contacted them about the charge, I got blown off and told I would not be reimbursed. Basically, what I had to say did not matter. I highly recommend not renting through Rosenblum. I feel like I got shafted.
