      More than 25 years ago, I became a mortgage originator because I wanted to help people achieve their dream of becoming a homeowner. This is still the reason I go to work every day and is what continues to inspire me about what I do. Buying a home is a major life event, likely the largest purchase a person will make. Purchasing a home brings so many benefits, like building wealth, and I love showing people how simple and seamless the homebuying process can be. I truly care about getting people into a mortgage that not only meets their needs today but also brings them long-term financial security. A home purchase is a huge investment that impacts lives, helps families secure a better financial position, and becomes a place where families grow and create memories. I am grateful for the trust my clients place in me, and I make sure they are informed and understand all of their options. I like talking with and getting to know my clients. I enjoy the challenge of tackling unique lending situations and saving loans close to being denied by another lender. I\u2019m readily available\u2014including in the evenings and on weekends\u2014and can be flexible to meet demanding closing dates. My clients know they can count on me, which has resulted in lifelong relationships. In my 10 years with Academy Mortgage, I have closed home loans for more than 3,400 individuals and families, totaling more than $1 billion. One reason I love working at Academy is that, as a direct lender, all decisions and actions related to processing, underwriting, and funding loans are made locally. My team and I know this market.
