The Treatment and Learning Center, also known as TLC, serves students with behavior and emotional disorders. The center manages classrooms in Mattoon and Kansas in Illinois. It offers academic assistance and individual and group counseling solutions. The Treatment and Learning Center also encourages parental involvement. The center is managed by the Eastern Illinois Area of Special Education, which is an organization that serves children between the ages of ages 3 and 21. The parent organization serves more than 5,500 exceptional children in Coles, Cumberland, Edgar, Effingham, Moultrie and Shelby counties in Illinois. The Eastern Illinois Area of Special Education offers early childhood and audiology programs.
