Richfield Volunteer Fire Company is a private, nonprofit agency that works to provide fire investigation and inspection, code enforcement, public education, and emergency medical and rescue services in an area of more than 45 square miles. It operates over two fire stations that utilize a fleet of ambulances, engines, grass trucks, tankers and pumpers. The company also responds to hazardous material, water and dive rescue and vehicle extrication incidents. Richfield Volunteer Fire Company is comprised of nearly 50 firefighters, paramedics and emergency medical technicians. It operates a communication and dispatch center that coordinates responses to various emergency and nonemergency calls. The company is located in Richfield, Wis.
