Operational since 1914, HeartShare Human Services of New York is a nonprofit human services agency that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. It offers parent training, case management, foster care prevention, counseling and advocacy services. The agency provides energy assistance and residential programs. It also features youth programs, as well as offers HIV/AIDS services. HeartShare Human Services of New York operates HeartShare Wellness, which is a diagnostic and treatment center that provides psychological counseling, laboratory screening, condition management and social work services. It specializes in the areas of gynecology, neurology, podiatry, psychiatry and optometry. The agency assists more than 17,000 children, adults and families annually. HeartShare Human Services of New York is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children.
