- VaccinationIn order to protect the health of your pet and others, we need written proof of current vaccinations for all pets that board at Westbury Animal Hospital. This should be in the form of an itemized receipt with your pet's name and the vaccine listed or medical history from a veterinarian. If written proof is not available, you will need to authorize your veterinarian to release your pet's medical history to us. This information should be provided to us prior to your pet's arrival.

- Parasites Treatment and Control3. Every pet admitted for boarding will be examined for fleas and ticks upon check-in. If they are present, we will bathe your pet and/or administer a Capstar at the regular charge. We must make every effort to prevent a flea/tick infestation in our hospital.

The gastroscope permits a non-invasive look inside the upper gastrointestinal tract, permits biopsies of the stomach and upper intestine, and often aids in non-surgical removal of stomach foreign bodies. The proctoscope aids in the diagnosis of colon and rectal disease.

- Laboratory ServicesOur Veterinarians will perform a small amount of blood work on your pet to ensure the safety of an anesthetic procedure. During the cleaning procedure, your pets teeth will be cleaned with an ultrasonic scaler to provide your pet with safe and efficient removal of tartar.
