Pyburn Elementary School, located in Houston, offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through five. It is affiliated with the Galena Park Independent School District. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including science, mathematics and number reasoning, language arts, reading and writing skills, music and physical eduaction classes. It offers various support education programs for special students that include engineering, science and technology, and building and launching of rockets. It provides a variety of facilities, such as a library, computer laboratory, music and fine arts rooms and a gymnasium. In addition, it provides food services at its cafeteria. Pyburn Elementary School also has a parent-teacher association that supports and helps in fundraising for various extracurricular events organized by the school.
