Would I reccomrnd John Moore plumbing Yes I would. The free estimate gave me the opportunity to decide whether to use them or not. The service personnel were on time and seemed to care. Both times I had to call they were on time ready to work while taking care not to disturb too much of the area they were working in.
This time he entire plumbing system is compromised due to the age of the house. They gave me several quotes depending on how much we wanted to repair.

Never use these people. We paid them thousands of dollars for a brand new system that still doesn't work 5 days later, and no one knows why. Every tech that comes out to our house tells use something different and the AC manager keeps telling us he will call us and never does.

I was very impressed with the professional service I received from John Moore's technicians. They were on time and the work is ""first class"". I was given an estimate as well as an explanation of what was to be done and why! Would recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship and the enjoyment of dealing with true professionals.

So I called and set up an appointment with John Moore Services for between 5pm and 8pm. Took off work early and delayed things I needed to get done awaiting a tech to call. At 7pm I took it upon myself to contact John Moore Services and ask if someone was on the way. They indicated that my issue was still to be addressed and they assured me I would receive a call. A follow up call after 8 yielded yet another call for patience on my part, and that I would receive a call. I attempted to file a complaint after 9 as I had received no word. Spoke with a gentleman who told me the Customer Service Department would call me the next day to address the issue. I have received no call of any sort from this company. Not even a courtsey call to say that, ""Another job was taking longer than expected and they needed to reschedule."" It's funny, you set an appointment to basically give away your money and someone no shows....how is that a good business model? Not to mention if you make an appointment with a doctor and no show, they bill you a no show fee....Can I do that? (Rhetorical)

I was a bit skeptical of the whole process, free trip charge and free estimate. But to my surprise it went better than I expected!! I had calls from the dispatch in both cases and my technicians both showed up on time. They were both very knowledgable on their respective trades and were very friendly. Although I have not scheduled them to complete any work yet it is only a matter of time.
I had scheduled an AC maintenance with ARS through Home Depot. I had a 4 hour window late in the afternoon and I didn't get a call from the technician 15 minutes after the close of the window and the tech didn't sound interested in visiting my house since it was going to be late. I was very displeased with ARS and decided to call John Moore and they responded quickly to scheduling a visit and contacted me before the tech would leave his prior engagement and the tech called again to notify me when he would be on his way. The tech was professional and made sure the service was done and explained what I needed and what I didn't. I am very pleased with John Moore and plan on continuing to use their services.

We called John Moore to come service our air-conditioning unit, which we have done each year for the past 3 years. Our downstairs unit was not producing the cooling air. Upon arrival and after one hour we were told our fan motor and condenser was out and the cost would be $1400.00. We placed that quote on hold while we search to find out if our unit was still under warranty, which it was. We were also told by our AC unit warranty that we would only have to pay for the labor . We called John Moore back the next day after explaining our unit was under warranty. They sent a completely different service person from the previous day and he spent an hour searching only to come to the same conclusion. Then told us that ""since our unit was under warranty, it would cost us $700 to fix the fan motor and condenser."" When asked what their hourly rate was, he couldn't answer just repeating that it would cost 1/2 of the full price! WTF?! AND that don't stand behind their work. You have to sign off stating you understand that "". . .I agree to hold John Moore LP blameless for any damage or destruction to those items as a result of these conventional repair efforts."" We decided to wait and get another opinion from another company.
Right after the John Moore tech left, I called another AC company and explained our situation, but did not state we already had JM come out to take a look at the problem. They sent out a service tech to my home 2 hours after my call! He spent 45 minutes looking over and testing our unit and said our fan motor was out. I asked about the condenser and he said our condenser is in perfect condition! Plus, he had the part we needed on hand and with our warranty, I paid $264.00 labor. This company did the ""HONEST"" work for us!
John Moore, shame on you!
Now I completely understand your advertising jingle: Call John, Get Moore. Well, that's what you get when you need a repair ""MOORE"".
You lost a 3 year customer due to your dishonest quotes and ridiculous warranty rules!!
CAUTION of John Moore. Get 2 or 3 different quotes before making your decision.

We had a leak coming through our kitchen floor. The first plumber said it was a fresh water leak but couldn't find it (even though we hadn't lost any water pressure) so they sent out a team of 2 technicians the next day. They diagnosed it as a sewer leak and after 3 hours found that we had sever blockage from tree roots in our front yard. They quoted me $2500 to replace the blocked segment of pipe. When I said I needed to wait and talk to my husband first, they got pushy and kept slicing down the price (not by much, but still trying to get me to sign right there and then). I got 3 other quotes and hired someone to do it for $1600. However when they started digging over the spot that John Moore marked, THERE WAS NO SEWER LINE! We kept digging assuming maybe it was off a few feet... but no, 10' later still no line on that side of my house. We did find it nearly 30 feet away. When I called John Moore in an attempt to get an explanation, they first said that their technician's notes indicated that the test on my house was inconclusive. Finally a supervisor called me back (2 days later after another message was left, not within 24 hrs like they said they would) and said that since I didn't hire them to do the replumbing they were not going to help me. I hired them for a diagnosis, which was wrong or I was scammed. So unless I pay too much for service (that may not even be needed), they won't back their own work. Conveniently, the technician who diagnosed the problem no longer works there....

John Moore technician arrived BEFORE the scheduled appointment to give estimate for ac repair. This is always a plus. He was polite, respectful, patient with the many questions we had and very knowledgeable. The service we received was excellent.

After my nearly eighty-year-old father and husband tore the handle and fitting from my shower trying to fix a small leak, I had to call a plumber immediately. Water was pouring down the inside of my bedroom wall. I had exposed pipes because they cut a hole out of the sheetrock to try to fix it themselves. Needless to say, I was needing a plumber fast! This was almost 4:00 in the afternoon! I called John Moore and they sent someone out that night to cap the leak so we could have water in other parts of the house until someone came back the next morning to finish the job. Everyone at this company is highly competent, extremely nice, and very informative. You will know exactly how much it will cost before the work is even done. We absolutely loved the plumber they sent. His name is Mike Beltran. Ask for him - you will not be disappointed. He is extremely good at what he does. He is very polite, soft-spoken, friendly, sweet - just a wonderful man and a great plumber, too! The office personnel went out of their way to help me and also get me financing for everything that needed to be done. We were never pressured into doing anything that we felt didn't need to be done. As a matter of fact, after Mike was here, we showed him other leaks in the house and some pipe on the hot water heater that needed fixing. He was so professional. We are extremely happy with the job that was done. A two-year warranty also came with parts of the job. I definitely recommend this company. With John Moore You Get More.
