      El Tiempo Cantina takes western Texas mesquite wood and places it in a wood-burning stove to grill its entrees. Its mesquite coals enhance the natural aroma and flavor of the food and helps to bring out a unique taste. Beef and chicken fajitas, pork ribs, jalapeno sausage, quail, saut ed shrimp Valentias and bacon-wrapped amantes topped off with lobster tail are among the items in the restaurant s Deluxe Mixed Grill Fiesta. This signature dish is served on a bed of grilled and caramelized onions as well as peppers with lemon/garlic dipping butter, tortillas and barco. Its menu also includes salads, soups, tacos, enchiladas, desserts and margaritas. El Tiempo Cantina operates two restaurants that are both located in Houston.
