I had my brakes done here a while back. I had researched this place and found good reviews. Unfortunately, I am not happy with this Car Techniks. My brakes have squealed ever since Car Techniks worked on them. I brought the car back, allegedly the mechanics worked on my car again and still my brakes squeal. Not just some of the time either. Each and every time I apply my brakes, they squeal. They squeal every time I apply my brakes which is super annoying. Never again will I use this place. If they didn't have the right equipment or replacement brakes, they should have told me. There's no reason for me to go in to have brake work done, and for me to get my car back with the brakes fixed, but with the squealing noise which is very loud, and for me to have this noise probably for the rest of the car's life. Not happy AT ALL.

A good mechanic that shoots straight with you and gives you a great price. People like this are hard to find. He has my business for life.

This business is just great period.



My husband and I service both of our cars there, I drive a Mercedes and he drives a BMW. This place is clean and very well organized; if you need a car rental, they will arrange one for you in a snap.



Our cars always done right, the main thing is that you feel you are dealing with honest and knowledgeable people and you get your moneys worth.

I have taken my 04 BMW to Car Techniks for several years now. I have always been happy with the service and the knowledge that they have in the BMW field. I would not take my car anywhere else. I believe that BMW is their true passion... not to mention pretty easy on the pocket book!

Great service and wonderful people. I thought that the quality of work would go down over the years, but time and time again I was proven wrong. Car Techniks has always treated me like family and has always helped me out when I was in a pinch.

Great shop: Words cannot describe how truly fantastic this auto shop is. Michael is great. I did have to book ahead, but my car was ready the same day I dropped it off, and I got out of there for just $305 for front and rear brakes, when I was expecting more like $500. Sweet.I also had an oil leak that I asked him to check out. The Lexus dealership had told me that oil was spewing out of the rear, and that to fix it, they'd have to remove the transmission...we're talking a $1500 job here. Ugh. Michael's took a look and said, no, in fact, it's coming out of the front, and it's a very slow leak--no need to fix it at this time. I checked out the spot after the next time I parked and indeed he was right--it was dripping in the front. Stupid Lexus Dealer. Yay Michael!

One of the greatest and my favorite shop! Michael is great to deal with very honest and straight to the point! The work is always great, if not better then I could do myself! Spread the the word. Good Quality Shops are hard to find! Car Techniks has maintained all my Cars - 03 530i BMW and 87 911 Porsche Carrera. If you ask me I highly recommend this shop! Cheers to you Michael! Most importantly, you don't pay the outrageous prices that the dealerships charge. Car Techniks is a family owned shop, owned by a very knowledgeable BMW technician who is very honest and forthright with his customers. They even clean your car before you pick it up! I highly recommend them regardless of where you live in Houston.

Top Drawer Service: My BMW Check engine light came on and got referred over to Car Techniks by a close friend. When I talked with Michael on the phone, I was really taken back. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. When I met him in person, I never felt for a moment that I was being taken for a ride. The shop was impressive and the level of service and professionalism was second to none! The repair was done quickly and at a price that I could stomach. I have finally found a person to trust with my most prized possession.

I'll go ahead and add to everyone else's good reviews...these guys were really great! I found them by looking on yahoo, and went in armed with a list of stuff that I wanted them to look at and/or repair. We dropped our Mercedes-Benz off at 7am when they opened, and got a call back at 1pm saying everything, including the huge checklist, was complete. They repaired our power steering and did an oilchange, and with the safety check was only $220. Now, I'm a girl, and I feel like I get taken advantage of sometimes in auto shops, but they have put my fears to rest. I hope my car doesn't break down any time soon, but if so, I'll definitely be back.
