It is one of the most active drillers in the Gulf of Mexico, Latin America, the North Sea, the Middle East and West Africa. The company designs and plans surface and subsea completions, specifies equipment and services and supervises operations. It provides risk management, budget control and staffing services. Applied Drilling Technology is a subsidiary of Transocean, which is one of the largest offshore drilling contractors in the world. Transocean has more than 20,000 employees and provides a fleet of mobile offshore drilling units to help clients find and develop oil and natural gas reserves.
