Rocky’s Corner is a family owned restaurant that was established in the late 1970s on Park Avenue as a carry out/ pick up establishment with only a few picnic tables outside. The Diorio/Simonovich families are originally from Chicago, but fell in love with Hot Springs and decided to start a family restaurant. About five years ago Rocky’s Corner lost one of its founding members, Joe Diorio. He may be gone, but still lives through his children and business legacy known as Rocky’s Corner. Rocky’s Corner has been at this location, 2600 Central Avenue, since 1982. Rocky’s Corner is recognized for its genuine Chicago style pizza, homemade Italian sandwiches and delicious pastas. The pizza dough is made fresh every day and only homemade sauce is used. The Chicago Vienna hot dog is also on the spectacular menu, and Rocky’s Corner is the only restaurant in town that has the real poppy seed buns and original trimmings. “On a personal note, we would like to thank all our faithful customers who choose us over all the other fine restaurants in the Hot Springs area,” Joe Diorio once said, “this patronage is not only appreciated but, it is the fiber of who we are and what we do.”
