John Jay Senior High School, located in Hopewell Junction, N.Y., is a public institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. More than 2,000 students are enrolled in the school that offers subjects, such as English, social studies, mathematics, science, business, languages, physical education, art, health, special education, music, and career and life technology. It also offers a variety of sports activities, including baseball, football and soccer. The parent-teacher association involves parents in a number of community activities, such as fundraising events. John Jay Senior High School is a part of the Wappingers Central School District.
