- X-raysA cone-beam CT (computed tomography) scan provides for highly accurate, three-dimensional radiographic images for the diagnosis, planning, and treatment of endodontic disease. This technology allows for three-dimensional visualization of teeth, bone, sinuses, and surrounding structures with minimal radiation to the patient, enabling a level of anatomical accuracy and patient care not possible with regular dental x-rays. We are able to view microscopic sections of teeth and surrounding structures in all three planes: top to bottom, side to side, and front to back.

- CrownsAt our office, we will thoroughly evaluate your tooth to determine if endodontic treatment is necessary. Sometimes a fractured tooth will only need the added protection of a crown, which would be done by your dentist.
- Restorative DentistryHe then maintained a private practice as a general dentist in Wahiawa Town, where he gained valuable experience in comprehensive restorative dentistry as well as endodontics.
- Root Canal TreatmentWe are a very unique endodontic (root canal) specialty practice in Honolulu dedicated to exceptional patient care using state-of-the-art technology.
- ApicoectomyEndodontic Surgery known as Apicoectomy starts with an incision in the gum tissue to expose the damaged tooth and/or bone. The damaged portion of bone or root is removed and the surrounding areas are cleaned. Sometimes a root-end filling is placed at the end of the root to prevent re-infection. The gum is sutured back in place. The bone will heal naturally over the next few months. We will closely monitor you and your tooth during this time.
- Dental ImplantsI was almost ready to get an implant- having already had a root canal and a "redo" by another specialist, when my dentist, knowing how I value my teeth, recommended I see Dr. Joe for a consultation.
