      Welcome to the Meadows of Mendon Stables, LLC. We are located in upstate New York, nestled in the Hamlet of Mendon. The stables is a community-based pleasure riding stables that services children through adults. Our goal is to foster a unique experience that encourages people to explore the pleasure of riding english and western style. Games on horseback. The stables owns and maintains a variety of breeds of horses and ponies. Horseback riding programs that we offer are: Spring Break Lesson Programs, Summer Horse Lesson Programs, Fall Horse Lesson Programs and Winter Horse Lesson Programs. The facilities that we offer is a 70x144 indoor riding arena, and a 100x200 outdoor riding arena. It is a family orientated stables that encourages family members the opportunity to learn to ride horses safely, while promoting confidence building from the ground to the saddle. In children and youth, we are successful at teaching personal responsibility, structure, self-esteem, positive-reinforcement and instilling diligent work skills. Utilizing horseback riding as a sport that encourages personal physical fitness ( weight loss and increased muscle tone ) and personal mental fitness ( decrease stress and an animals natural ability to soothe us ).
