Provided by YP.comDealing with this agency has been a nightmare. My family offered to take in my nieces and nephew because they were with a neglectful alcoholic mother addicted to RX drugs. We were asked to sign a paper saying we would not release them to their mother and we would keep them until further notice. When we called many many many many times to get an idea of how long it would be so that we could keep the kids updated on when they may go back home, our calls were never returned. They came to us with a bag of clothes infested with head lice so we had to basically buy everything. After never hearing from DFACS, the caseworker, Tera Westbrook, calls and tries to bully us into giving the mother everything we had bought for these kids on a weekend visit. We refused and said if the mom can afford to have them on the weekend then SHE can provide for them. Tera Westbrook got angry at us so irrationaly returned the kids to the mom after 3 1/2 months of "sobriety" knowing the mother had given birth to 2 of the children while addicted and cleaned up for 4 months to get them back then when right back to her ways. THIS is how children DIE when DFACS is involved.
