I do not recommend sending your child to Child Works, especially if your child has special needs or if they require special attention. The staff felt unwelcoming and rigid, and the program appeared to be designed for above-age-level children who displayed very few or no problematic behaviors. Behavioral expectations were very high, and felt age-level innappropriate. Feedback from staff was inconsistent and heavily negative. Staff seemed to want children to fit into their tight mold, both socially and behaviorally. Differences did not appear to be welcomed or appreciated. I would not recommend this location to families who are looking for a warm, flexible and child-centered approach to their child's early education.
