Continental Paper Grading Company was founded in 1919 as an independent broker to buy and sell all grades of waste paper and old rags. For all of the last century, CPG was family run by the Epsteins. In 1985 Continental Paper Grading Co. of Canada, Inc was formed allowing greater access to all of North America. In 2001, we became management owned.Throughout the past 30 years, CPG has experienced constant annual growth, while continually upgrading their staff and infrastructure. In 1978, CPG shipped 200, 000 tons, while today, we are shipping over 1.2 million tons or a 500% increase making CPG one of the largest independent brokerage firms.Our management team has over 75 years of combined experience in the industry. Our growth and success is directly attributed to our dedication to our vendors and customers.
