I have to agree with the first poster. The doctors and nurses are great... When you can actually get an appointment. It's very rare to be able to call in without them putting you on 'hold purgatory'. They will not bother to schedule you, rather you have to walk in and take your chances. . Then you can expect to be in the waiting room for a few hours. As I type now, I have now been on hold for over 35 minutes...

ZERO STARS!!! I HAD to put ONE to rate.The doctors I had here were all good, BUT you will have a LOT of problems with getting in if you get sick. Can NEVER get an appointment the same day, or even weeks most times, if anything you will have to go in as a walk-in and wait FOREVER. Their favorite excuse is: "The doctor's schedule isn't ready, you'll have to call in later," which usually means the next month, then no-one seems to answer the phone because they are ALL supposedly busy with patients, which never looks that way when I go there. By this I am NOT talking about the doctors or even nurses, but rather the front desk people. At least all I seem to deal with. Oh, and if you run out of medications, you'd better call at LEAST a week in advance.... they NEVER answer when you leave messages. I am referring to the HILO Bay Clinic. I have gone days without vital medication many times, even calling in advance. Just thought I would warn you. AUWE! Too bad it's so hard to find doctors.
