Metro West Ambulance, established in 1953, is one of the oldest ambulance service providers in Oregon. It offers prehospital health care and emergency and nonemergency medical transportation services. The company provides door-to-door wheelchair van and stretcher car services with advanced life support ambulance and paramedic staff. Metro West Ambulance, in partnership with Education For Life offers classes in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It supports various schools, community events, nonprofit organizations, and community and senior centers, as well as offers financial donations and medical event standby services. Metro West Ambulance is headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore.
