- Dental CareDental care is vital to the overall health of any cat. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common cat health issue among our cat population.
- VaccinationThis last year and a half has been difficult on everyone, to say the least. The pandemic has made us all adapt in ways that we could have never imagined. Recently, as a result of the hard work of our scientific world, we are beginning to see the light at the end of this tunnel. While the pandemic is far from over, vaccinations are moving us closer to the life that we once knew. That is why we are excited to announce that soon clients will be allowed back into our clinic. We at All About Cats have been eagerly awaiting this day.

- Nutritional CounselingObesity is a common problem among cats, as it can be easy to over-feed a cat that knows how to beg. But being overweight is a serious problem for animals, and can cause real health problems as they get older. With proper diet and exercise, all cats should be able to meet their dietary needs and be within a healthy weight range.
- Comprehensive ExaminationOur staff will get a chance to talk to you and see if you are having any trouble with your cat. We will also go over diet, preventative medicine, and exercise to ensure that your cat is as healthy as possible. Then, one of our veterinarians will do a complete physical examination on your cat. It is always good to have a baseline in case your cat ever becomes ill. We also want to monitor your cat’s weight, ensuring that your cat stays a healthy weight. It is much easier to start a diet when a cat is a pound overweight instead of fifteen! Our veterinarian will also look for any potential problems. Our goal is to catch any problems before they become major ones. The sooner that we are able to catch a problem, the easier it is to treat it and the more likely that your cat will make a full recovery!

- MicrochippingEvery year, thousands and thousands of cats go missing. Not knowing where your cat is or how to bring them back can be a helpless, hopeless feeling. It’s a tragedy that happens all too often. But there is a simple, safe, and effective way to ensure your cat’s safety and retrieval should they ever become lost. Microchipping is a standard procedure that implants a tiny chip underneath your cat’s fur. It is a painless and relatively fast procedure, and is completely safe. This microchip is registered with your cat’s vital information, and can be scanned by any veterinarian or animal shelter so that they can return your cat directly to you.
- GroomingHere at All About Cats Clinic, we offer services for grooming of cats, but please understand that we are not a professional grooming facility. Our typical grooming patients are cats who are difficult to groom who require the aid of tranquilization to increase the safety of the patient and the groomer.
