Went with my mother to a closing for her house. The other party and my mother's realtor attended. I showed up because my mother told me due to new legal fees her check from the sell was going about $400 dollars less. At the sit-down I quickly raised concern about the fees. It was explained and I was shown a generic print out with the figures and told where I could look some things up. Even the realtor raised eyebrows with the jump in price. When I pointed my mother's situation wasn't the best and she's not familar with these kind of precedings and that I wanted to make sure she wasn't being taking advantage of; Davis kept interupting me. I threw it on the table she might not get the best review via internet, Davis became really snarky with this and threatened me with a SLANDER suit. Not the best treatment toward a son just trying to look out for his twice widowed mother who is taking care of two teenage nieces. Davis ended up giving my mother a additional $100 check out of 'her funds' making it known to us was to help my mother and not due to me (or what I had to say).
