- Medical Weight LossSculpSure works best with people at stable body weights that are at or close to optimal body mass levels. While SculpSure reduces the number of fat cells, weight loss affects the size of fat cells, not their quantity. The purpose of SculpSure is body contouring, not weight loss. Weight loss is important if someone is overweight, for many health reasons. Because of this, our medical practice, Aspen Family Care, is equipped to help you with guidance and education in regards to weight management.

- Primary CareAs a family medicine physician, my mother has always been my role model of what a doctor should be. Because of her, I developed my passion for primary care at a young age. Most importantly, I want to build lasting bonds with patients as they work to achieve their health goals. I am happy to be with Aspen Family Care as this medical journey continues.

- Emergency CareBy nature, illness and injury follow no schedule, often occurring unexpectedly. Medical emergencies vary in seriousness. When conditions are immediately life-threatening, the emergency department of a local hospital is the best option for such care. When the need for care is urgent, but not life-threatening, your health care professionals at Aspen Family Care in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, often offer the best solution because we know you and your health history. Whether it be an injury, illness, a non-surgical fracture, or cut that needs stitches, we are ready to help. In addition, we’re more cost-effective than urgent care clinics and emergency rooms. If something ends up being more serious than anticipated, or timely management is crucial, we play an important role in health care coordination to improve speed and access to specialists and hospitals that result in not just better care, but less expensive care. If you need urgent care, please call the office right away.
- Infectious DiseasesMedical providers who specialize in child medicine look after the particular needs of children with the intent to reduce infant and child mortality, suppress the impact of infectious diseases, and generally establish the groundwork for their young patients’ healthy lifestyles and disease-free lives.

- Bladder CancerProstate cancer is the most prevalent form, accounting for about 25% of all cancers in men annually. Lung cancer accounts for half that amount, but often proves more deadly, and about 80% of those deaths stem from cigarette smoking. Colorectal cancer accounts for over 73,000 cases annually, typically occurring after the age of 50. Men over 70 and men having any history of smoking have a greater risk of bladder cancer.
- Kidney CancerSkin cancers are the most common cancers when men and women are combined. Though melanoma is a less common skin cancer, it accounts for the most deaths of all skin cancers. Other cancers in the top 10 for men include kidney cancer, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, mouth and throat cancer, leukemia, and pancreatic cancer.
- Colon CancerWell exams adults may include: A physical exam, screening for cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, mammogram, pap test, osteoporosis, colon cancer, prostate cancer, immunizations, STDs, and other potential recommended tests for certain other health risks based on your health history. Your provider may ask you about physical activity, diet, drug use such as tobacco and alcohol. This may also include routine management of stable health conditions that do not require changes in care. However, if you have many health issues, we will not be able to combine them with an annual wellness visit as it will detract from the purpose of your annual wellness exam. In this situation, our medical team will ask you to choose either a wellness exam or a problem-focused visit and to schedule a separate appointment for the other.

- Vasectomy€‹There are many approaches to family planning, and many factors to consider when determining the correct form of birth control for an individual or couple. When a family is done growing or no children are wanted and the decision is firm, vasectomies are a great choice for men. There is no method designed for birth control that is more effective in prevention of unwanted pregnancy than a vasectomy. Compared to other surgical methods done for women, it is generally safer and far simpler. No general anesthetic is used, and the entire procedure is done inside the scrotum, not inside the abdomen where other vital organs are located for both men and women. We have two surgical rooms at Aspen Family Care, and the procedure is done in the comfort of our office. When the time is right to prevent future pregnancies permanently, our experts at Aspen Family Care in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, can advise you on the suitability of a vasectomy. Call the office or book online today for a consultation.

- PsoriasisSince blood testing requires lab analysis, it may take some time for results to return. However, blood testing is often necessary when the patient is taking medication that may interfere with skin tests. A skin condition such as psoriasis or eczema may make skin test assessments difficult. In general, young children don’t tolerate skin testing as well as older children and adults, so a single blood sample may be less traumatic.
