My husband is a disabled Vietnam Vet. We bought a sofa that sat "higher" to provide relief for his knees and make it easier to get up from sitting there. So far it has packed down so much, he is using three pillows to sit on it more comfortably. When I called the company, the man told me it was not his department, and I'd have to contact the dealer we bought it from. We went out of our way to buy "made in the USA" furniture, so I thought we'd get a better product - not to mention better service - from the manufacturer here at home in the states. I hate to say, this has been a disappointing experience for us, and "made in the USA" seems to be a selling gimmick with no service to back it up. That phrase used to mean a sturdier, longer lasting product. To say we are disappointed is an understatement! A veteran should be able to expect better from American companies!!! I will be trying to contact the small dealer we bought it from since the factory says they don't deal with the public.
