My daughter has been at Bundle of Joy now for over a year in the preschool program. She comes home every day and tells me about all of the exciting things she has done and learned. It is so important to me as a parent to know she is happy. My heart is not heavy when I drop her off each morning because she tells me it is ok to go to work. The teachers and directors are on top of everything and I have never had any concerns with the cleanliness of the school or the wonderful women who work there. I wish I had posted a review a long time ago. They are the BEST!

My 31/2 year old has started going to the cottage street center for bout 2 weeks now.May b its a lil early for me to write a review, but cant wait to share my wonderful experience.I had to pull my child out of another preschool because he was having a tough time there and there was no development.as soon as he started going to BOJ we have noticed a very positive change in him.He is participating in class and interacting with other kidsand these were the major problems we were facing in his previous preschool.some mornings he is a lil upset bout separating from me but then his teacher holds him so lovingly that within minutes he is ok and i feel great about leaving him in such a loving caring and nurturing environment. Can't thank BOJ staff enuff!

Great centers. We use them for Back up care. I have a nanny who has a habit of missing a few days a month. A friend told me about their Back up care program so I went for a visit. I filled out some paperwork, gave a health form and birth certificate and instantly had a plan B. Now if my nanny needs a day off it is no problem because Bundle of Joy always has a spot. We use the Atlee location but when space was not available, they called the Glen Allen and Goochland centers and found a space for us. It is so reasonable. My son is 4 and we only pay $12.50 for him to go all day. His lunch and snacks are included. I don't know how they do it but it is the best thing going because most places will not allow you to go for drop in care and if they do, the price is north of $50. I'v never had a complaint. My son always has fun and since he is in the classroom with other children his age, he gets to participate in the learning activities of the day.

My daughter attends Bundle of Joy in Goochland and loves every minute of it. I am a stay home mother and since she is an only child I was eager to offer her time to socialize with other children. When we went for the first visit I could tell she was excited. What I did not expect was her unwillingness to leave. I fully prepared myself for the worst since she had never been in preschool but what happened threw me for a loop. She cried because she did not want to leave. Everyone was so kind and made her feel so comfortable she did not want to go home. I immediately enrolled her in their morning program. Since then she has learned so much and made so many friends. It was a great decision (although I don't know if I really had one). She made the decision for us. It is her home away from home. Oh, they were successful where I was not.....she is potty traned!

I have had two children who have attended since they were infants and I must say that I have never felt as conforted as when I left them in the hands of Bundle of Joy. When they entered kindergarten their teachers were amazed at their academic readiness which I give them full credit. They are now both in middle school and their teachers at Bundle of Joy are still working with Bundle of Joy (even their infant teachers! Every once in a while they ask if we can stop by to visit. This speaks volumes about the positive impact Bundle of Joy has had on their lives. I always found the director and regional directors approachable and "on top" of every aspect of the daily operations of the center. I love the fact that they are family owned and NOT a franchise. Last time were in for a visit I met a parent who was a former student. I must say I was not at all surprised. LOVE THEM ALL!

First let me say this: who ever wrote the review before me, must either own or work there. Their same post is on every website that allows you to write reviews. With that being said, I am a real parent who has a real child that goes to this daycare and let me tell you...My son has been going there for about 2 years. We have had nothing but problems with this daycare. I can not count how many times I had to address the director about issues that I was seeing every week. My son almost every morning gets cold eggs, cold sausage and cold bacon. The staff there (afternoon staff) is very young and impatient with the kids. Not to mention the "child hood dieses" he has picked up there, he is always sick. I went to have lunch with him one day and as soon as they ate their last bite the teachers were laying them down for a nap ( last time I checked, children need time for their food to digest). I would not recommend this daycare facility to anyone who cares about the well being of t

Notably good service experience. The most important thing to me is my children feel secure.

I want them to be comfortable and happy in the environment they are in when they are not at home with their father and I. They are most definitely happy where they are. I love getting a daily report letting me know what type of day my toddler has. The staff has helped me out tremendously when I needed advice (ie. potty training, behavioral issues). Their summer camp program is wonderful. The kids have the opportunity to swim, go on field trips, have entertainment brought in to them. There are times when I almost wish I could work there just to be able to take advantage of all of the fun stuff they get to do!
