- Dental ExaminationDuring all regular dental exams, we also look for early signs and symptoms of oral cancer and other pre-cancerous conditions. This includes a visual examination of your entire oral cavity, as well as a physical evaluation of the tissue in your mouth and throat to detect any abnormalities. If we find any areas of concern, we may perform a simple test, such as a brush test, which collects cells from a suspicious lesion in the mouth to be sent to a lab for analysis. While these symptoms may be caused by other, less serious problems, it is very important to visit our office to rule out the possibility of oral cancer.
- Oral Cancer ScreeningOur office is not only dedicated to your smile, we’re also dedicated to your overall wellness. We take a holistic approach to your dental care, which includes an oral cancer screening as a part of your regular exam. Like many kinds of cancer, oral cancer can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated early.
- Teeth CleaningRegular exams are an important part of maintaining your oral health and your total body health. During your regular exam, we will check for any problems that you may not be able to see or feel, look for cavities and other signs of tooth decay, inspect your teeth and gums for gingivitis and signs of periodontal disease, and provide a thorough teeth cleaning.
- Fluoride TreatmentFluoride is effective in preventing cavities and tooth decay and in preventing plaque from building up and hardening on the tooth’s surface. A fluoride treatment in your dentist’s office takes just a few minutes. After the treatment, patients may be asked not to rinse, eat, or drink for at least 30 minutes in order to allow the teeth to absorb the fluoride. Depending on your oral health or your doctor’s recommendation, you may be required to have a fluoride treatment every three, six, or 12 months.
- Dental SealantsSometimes brushing is not enough, especially when it comes to those hard-to-reach spots in your mouth. It is difficult for your toothbrush to get in-between the small cracks and grooves on your teeth. If left alone, those tiny areas can develop tooth decay. Sealants give your teeth extra protection against decay and help prevent cavities.
- Fillings
- Resin CompositeFillings are an extremely common dental restorative that is used to repair damage from cavities. Traditional fillings may include gold, porcelain, or composite, while newer fillings include ceramic and plastic compounds that mimic the appearance of natural teeth. These compounds, often called composite resins, are typically used on the front teeth where a natural appearance is important.
- VeneersVeneers are a simple dental solution and can easily correct your teeth’s imperfections to help you have a more confident, beautiful smile. Veneers are natural in appearance, and they are a perfect option for patients who have healthy existing teeth but want to make adjustments to the look and feel of their smile.
- CrownsDentists can create customized fittings of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and other dental restorations using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). Through the CAD/CAM technology, your dentist can provide you with the most precise restorations possible.
- Bridges
- Dental BondingBonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked tooth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed onto your tooth to improve its appearance. The filling “bonds” with your tooth, and because it comes in a variety of tooth-colored shades, it closely matches the appearance of your natural teeth.
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canals, also known as endodontic therapy, are a relatively painless treatment which aims at clearing infection as well as protecting the tooth from subsequent infections. This is a fairly common procedure, but one that causes a good bit of anxiety for many patients. Baker and Graham specializes in performing these procedures quickly, safely, and without pain.

Laser dentistry is often ideal for children who become anxious or afraid when having dental work done, as well.
