Christa McAuliffe Elementary School serves approximately 600 students in first through fifth grades. Founded in 1988, the school provides various on-site before- and after-school day care programs. It offers basic skills development programs in reading, language arts, math, social studies and science. Christa McAuliffe Elementary School also provides several art, music, special education, and gifted and talented programs. It has a parent-teacher organization for parents, teachers and students. The school s staff includes autism resource specialists, pathologists and subject teachers. Its facility includes a computer lab, playground, media center and library.
