Had Ashland Hollow clocks repair both a wall clock and grandfather clock. Was very satisfied with the workmanship and professionalism in informing what needed to be done, then what repairs were made, and then at installation offered great tips to insure the basic elements of the clock worked. With a limited number of clock repair shops, Ashland was reasonable on repair costs and turn around time in repairs and delivery.

I found a really cool atomic age starburst wall clock at a garage sale, but it didn't run. Fred got it refitted with updated movement he had on hand (no waiting for parts!) and so far, it's running great! It's now more reliable, quiet, and -bonus!- takes AA batteries instead of D. On top of that, should anything go wrong, the repair came with a one year warranty. I'd recommend Ashland Hollow Clocks to anyone needing timepiece repairs in the area.

I have an old clock that I got from my great grandparent's house in North Dakota that they abandoned in the late 70's. I tested it and everything while I was there, and it worked fine and still kept the time after 30+ years! Though when I was on my way back to Minnesota, the clock got jostled around and I broke the hands. So it just sat on the wall here not doing anything, because I thought it was never going to work again.Today, I just brought in the clock to Ashland Hollow to see about getting it fixed. The first thing he even asked me was if I wanted to upgrade it with a battery so I didn't have to keep a cord. I didn't even know you could do that! I declined the offer, though it was really tempting. After a couple of minutes looking over the clock, he took the hands off the facing and had the whole thing repaired in 5 minutes! I cannot recommend this business enough. Great prices, great service.

ASHLAND HOLLOW did an excellent job of troubleshooting a German clock I have owned for years and has sentimental value. They quickly restored it back to use. The customer service of the owner, Fred Weiland is second to none. He will pick up your clocks and make house calls if your clock is not easily transportable. How fortunate for us to find an excellent knowledgeable clock repairman and right in our neighborhood! Fred at least took a look at our antique German Cuckoo Clock when others we called simply said they don't do Cuckoo Clocks. Fred made a house call so we didn't damage the clock by bringing it to him. Not only did Fred fix the clock to get it running again, he cleaned it, leveled it, & re-hung it back on our wall. He followed up with a phone call & returned to make some final adjustments once the clock was running for 24 hrs. Fred explained what was wrong with the clock, what it would take to fix it, how much it would cost, and much time it would take and stuck to those estimates. We have other types of antique clocks we plan to have Fred clean and check over. He is our clock repair guy and we would highly recommend him to others.
