- Parasites Treatment and ControlBlood chemistries indicate how well your pet’s liver, kidney and pancreas function for your pet. A CBC can indicate your pet’s overall health, as red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets are all determined. Large numbers of red cells can indicate dehydration, while few red cells may mean anemia in an animal. White cell counts which are high may be indicative of leukemia, while few white cells may indicate inflammation or issues with the ability to produce new white cells by the bone marrow.
