I love Flan

I love flan and haven’t had a good one in years. I stopped in and found out that Arepa City had flan. It was out of this world. It far surpasses the flan at the Columbia in Tampa Florida. Not only was it great they had different flavors. The Coffee and Mocha Flan was a little bit of heaven here on earth. Their prices are great and would recommend Arepa City to anyone looking for excellent Latin food in Harrisburg. It’s a cozy little restaurant that would make a lasting impression on your taste buds. I can only see this place growing as they seam to have found the right combination for excellent food and affordable pricing.

Great!!! I am so going back!!!

Arepas, empanadas, tostones, black beans soup, reina pepiada... whatever you ask for, even better whatever the chef suggests, you will love it!

When I walked in I was greeted by the chef "Daniel", he asked if I knew anythnig about venezuelan food and suggested he'll bring something good from the menu "if you don't like it you won't have to pay he told me"... He brough an Arepa Sampler and tostones! I loved it, especially the salad that came with the tostones... I paid and asked for a pork filed arepa... I am ready to try some more items from the menu...

Harrisburg needed something good and different... and what a different place! Authentic Venezuelan and Latinoamerican food with amazing taste. They have a wonderful selection of sauces in your table to top each bite with a different flavor, a real concert to your palate... the place is also kids friendly with a contagious Latin music background, open late saturdays in case you need a late bite or a place to sit and relax in busy 2 nd street!

The staff? very welcoming, the waitress is really sweet and the atmosphere very casual and "homey".

I am telling you, if you try it, you'll keep going back! Outstanding!
