- Door Installation/Replacement
- DrywallsThis is another critical concern. Walls are not always of the same thickness. The majority of home construction in the United States is set up for 2 by 4 studs plus drywall. Entrance door jambs for this construction are typically 4 ½” wide. Wider jambs are available and can be made to order.
- Basement Remodeling
- FramingMost contractors agree that new construction is usually easier and less problematic than remodeling. If it is new construction you may be better served to have the door on the job site prior to framing up the wall. This will assist in avoiding many issues including door unit size versus rough opening, exterior trimming, wall thickness versus door jamb thickness, etc. When remodeling, you certainly must take even more care when ordering a door.
- Tile Installation
- FireplacesSquare Nose Reducers are very similar to Thresholds but have a more squared off edge. Typically used with floating floor, a Square Nose is perfect for butting hard surface floors up against vertical obstacles, where a Quarter Round or Wall Base would be difficult to use to cover an expansion gap like a brick wall, fireplace, sliding glass door, entryway doors. The Square Nose Reducer overlaps the hardwood or laminate floor, hiding the expansion gap with the overlapped portion of the molding.

- GazebosHome Improvement - While "home improvement" often refers to building projects that alter the structure of an existing home, it can also include improvements to lawns, gardens, and outdoor structures, such as gazebos and garages. It also encompasses maintenance, repair and general servicing tasks. Home improvement projects generally have one or more of the following goals
- PorchesDue to insurance guidelines all deliveries of larger products are made to curb side at the nearest access point to the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. You must arrange for adequate help to offload larger products. Other products may be offloaded by the delivery driver. The driver cannot help move the products into your home or worksite. As deliveries are made by a large truck or van, it must be assured that the delivery address will be accessible by a large truck or van. If your location is not suitably accessible, an alternate delivery location must be arranged beforehand. Deliveries will be made between 8 am and 6 pm. We are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are at the carrier’s discretion. If the carrier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there, refuse to sign, you refuse delivery or the site is inaccessible, you will be liable for the cost of any re-delivery charge or return charge when applicable. Deliveries cannot be left outside in porches, garages or any other location without you being present or someone you have authorized being present.
- MasonryObviously, you will need to trim out your door both on the inside and outside. Our doors are manufactured and shipped with WM180 brick moulding which can be easily removed and modified slightly if needed. The interior trim “casing” is not included as this is usually matched on site with other interior trim work. You will want to take into account your exterior construction and pre-plan how you will fit and trim your door to match your exterior. In remodeling, for example, masonry of any type that is already in place may limit your brick mould sizes and thus impact the size of your door. Vinyl or wood exteriors may allow more flexibility in trimming the exterior of your door frame. You cannot assume that if the door frame will fit, the moulding will also fit without modification. You may have to measure first to fit your moulding to the existing exterior (especially masonry) and then deal with the rough opening and door unit size. The plan being you must fit the brick mould to the exterior properly first, as you have less options there. Then the interior side can be filled as needed and interior trim added.
