We hired Virgil Asbury to replace a commode, repair a leaky exterior water line, replace a shut off valve to the kitchen sink, and install a new under cabinet RO Water system & Ice maker at my parents home. After checking out the project, he had to leave to get parts that he needed, this took over 30 minutes. The Comode & shut off to kitchen sink were installed & operating properly, as far as the RO system & ice maker these were left unfinished, we were charged $446 of which $59 was parts. After Virgil left, we found a crumpled up receipt in a leftover box where Virgil had gone to Sears and purchased some parts. (It was for approx $59.00 for a few fittings and several full tool sets). I ended up completing the ice maker install myself, but the RO system still not operating & leaking. When he was called back to complete the job, we were told that there would be new charges for coming out to fix it and replied, "You supplied the R.O. filter, so you need to get another plumber!" WE WILL!
