Terrible place! Terrible services. No concern for human life. Faulty equipment. Bad bad bad business. Almost drowned on the river due to faulty equipment. They wouldn't answer the phone, wouldn't pick us back up for two hours and blamed us for everything and overcharged us without permission. These people are dishonest and rude. How are they still in business? How have they not been shut down?

My family & I went with some friends last May & we had a blast! We did the 5 mile raft trip that started at Taylor's Camp & ended at Hardy Beach. The raft trip was awesome! It was 4 adults & 1 child in one of their huge Cadillac rafts. Took us about 6 hrs bc we stopped at a few island/beach areas. The scenery was nothing short of amazing! Got plenty of sea shells & there was this one island area that had butterflies everywhere! Plenty of nice folks along the way that either lived in the houses along the river or other ppl rafting that guided us along the way if we needed it. The cabins are amazing & come with plenty of amenities. Yea the beds might not be very comfortable, but the beauty of the area makes up for it! The staff was very courteous to us & told us everything we needed to know before venturing out on the raft trip. You might see some bad reviews on a place, but can't always trust them bc ppl sometimes don't think to post good ones. My family & I will be back this year!!!

My husband and I , went camping with my sister and her husband at Lake Charles Arkansas what a beautiful place . Arkansas has the best state campground I have seen . But beware of 3 river outfitters we wanted to go fishing on the river , We went to rent a caneo my brother in law told them we don't want a float trip we just want to park and fish . They seem to understand that . My husband and myself ask them if there were any bad water fall they said no its just a beautiful. River . Myself , husband and brother in law ask them over and over if there was any bad water fall. I let them know I had never been in a caneo and on a river before , they asure us there were no bad water falls , that was a lied dont trust this company . My sister and her husband went over a 8 to 10 foot waterfall it threw them out caneo turn over , We couldn't get to them our caneo was jamb between to very large bolders . The water was very rapids you can't see are hear the falls until you are on top of It Thank God for a lady that lives next to the river she called for help there were some other women there said a woman was killed there last year and a lot of people have been hurt really bad . My sister and her husband got next to a dock and was able to get back in their caneo . They were going down to Hardy beach and wait for us the outfitter were going to pick us up I told them my sister and her husband was going to be there the driver just drove by but never stopped and wait for them he let us know it was his day off he was called in to help so other wise he didn't have time to wait . When he took us back he told the girl that the other driver would have to pick them up . The girl left too The owner Donna and the other owner was there Brian just looked at us walked off he could tell we weren't in the best of shape I told the owner Donna we ask if there were any bad water falls and that we just wanted to fish she just stood there no I'm sorry or nothing I let her know we were told about the lady that was killed there last year she said yes I ask her why they are not up front with their customers no respond Don't trust this company they are not up front plus that their website said $30:00 dollars they charge $40:00 taxes I guess Thank God my sister and her husband didn't hit their head and my husband didn't go over the fall I just want people to know don't trust these people they should not be in busy. I pray no body else gets killed or hurt again . I hope the corp of engineer shut this down Also after we booked this they told us we would have to pick up our canoe and put it over the bridge that should have been are first clue to get away from this people . I will never rent from Three River Outfitters again. The cabin was nice except for the fact that we had to plung the toilet every time we used it. The second night the air conditioning went out. They charged us $17 per person to raft when their web site clearly state $14 per person and when we told the owner, Donna, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "well it's $17." The 6 person raft had a hole in it and, after waiting for an hour for a second raft, it also had a hole in it and Brian said "well you're going to get wet anyway." And when we requested a refund for the second night with no a/c we were told it would have to be investigated. One of their employees went to investigate and went back and told Mary, the clerk, that the compressor on the a/c was out but we still were not able to get a refund. We were told the owner, Jeff, would have to investigate. His wife and co-owner, Donna, would not come out of her residence next door to even talk to us.
