      General Info
      Founded in 1934, Elsner Engineering Works designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of converting equipment and machinery. Elsner-built machines can wind, rewind, package, overwrap, label and fold virtually any type of consumer roll product. The company markets a complete line of semi-automatic rewinders specifically designed for the economy-minded converter with low-volume requirements. In addition, the company offers automatic folding machines for converting fancy napkins, surgical gauzes and swabs, fabric softener rolls, gift wrap, wallpaper, plastics, baby wipes, industrial wiping cloths, surgical drapes, disposables, tablecloths and a wide variety of other roll products. Elsner s clients include Hallmark Cards, American Greetings, Rubbermaid, Reynolds Metals and Johnson and Johnson. The company has in excess of 2,000 rewinders, overwrappers, unwind stands and folding machines operating in more than 35 countries worldwide. Elsner Engineering Works maintains its corporate offices and manufacturing facility in Hanover, Pa., and has branch offices throughout North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
