Hancock Middle-Senior High School is a national Blue Ribbon School that enrolls more than 350 students in grade 6 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as Spanish, physical education, family and consumer science, history, science, math, English and business education. The school also offers special education programs for students with special needs. It has a team of counselors that provides personal counseling and career guidance. Hancock Middle-Senior High School s library and media center stocks more than 6,600 books, magazines, nonprint instructional materials and has nearly 18 computers with Internet access. It offers a range of athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, track and field and cheerleading. Hancock Middle-Senior High School is a part of Washington County Public Schools and is located in Hancock, Md.
