Dr. Michael Benke completed his undergraduate education at Tulane University in New Orleans where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Biology. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2007. He served as a team physician to multiple high school, college and professional teams including the LA Galaxy Major League Soccer team. Dr. Benke is board certified in orthopedics and specializes in advanced arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, knee and hip, elbow, as well as cartilage restoration. He is the author of multiple articles in peer-reviewed orthopedic journals focusing on these areas and is also adept in orthopedic trauma and joint replacement and reconstruction.
