Headquartered in Guntersville, Ala., Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare maintains over five service locations in Alabama. It maintains an after-hour crisis hotline and has been operational for more than 35 years. The health care agency s programs are certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare is a member of the Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Boards (ACCMHB) and the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare (NCCBH). It employs a work force of over 20 full-time staff members that includes clinical coordinators and directors, administrative coordinators and business managers. The health care agency maintains a substance abuse services facility that provides intensive outpatient and crisis residential services to both men and women.
