Best place to eat on the beach! Best Bushwacker, Gumbo and Chowder, served by the best bartenders in the Gulf, Laura and Carmen!!
Good food but a little on expensive side. Did not get enough food for the price we paid.
We live in Pensacola and Peg Leg Pete's is one of the better seafood houses in the area. The grilled fish is fabulous. If you have to eat gluten free, ask for the GF menu.
Tonight one of the members of our party did not get her meal by the time the rest of us had finished eating. The waitress admitted there was a mishap in the kitchen. At that point, we canceled her order. When the bill came, they charged her for her tea and when the manager on duty was summoned to the table, he stated that she had the opportunity to "enjoy" her drink while she was waiting for her meal. He gave her a a coupon, which held no value to her since she was visiting from California . He refused to make it right. I have lived in this community for 48 years and would recommend to anyone to pass on Peg Leg's . The food is not worth the hassle. Guess they've forgotten the days when all they had was a microwave.
This is the best restaurant on pensacola bch, and I know this becauce I work there! We have a full bar, yes but we are known for our OYSTERS! hence the name...anyway we have our signature drink, yes its a little sweet but its Damn good! I guess all I'm tryin to say to the 1 BAD review out of 7 is Our oysters are the BEST & our seafood is the freshest so everyone just keep on coming back, people don't wait 2 hours for NOTHING!
This restaurant was just okay. The establishments around here really push their alcohol and pete's was no different. The Alabama-raised catfish was delicious, however the drinks offered were too sugary-sweet. Crowded even on a Monday night.
Awesome servers. awesome food, best oyster around..!!!Try the Spicy LaFitte and a Shipwreck..You won't be sorry!
Right on the beach! boat can dock up at the resturant, big playground for kids, can sit outside or inside. I can be a little pricey, but Great tasting food! Great staff!
If you are going on a friday or saturday night, you may want to get there a little early cause it gets pretty busy.. you could be waiting a while to get a seat.
The kids plates come in a sand bucket to keep, they get a pirate hat and love that!
This is a great place to take someone visiting the gulf coast!
The whole family Loves Peg Leg Pete's. The atmosphere is great. There is a great area for the kids to play. Often has live music. You can walk across the road to the beach or out back and check out the boats right out back behind the restaurant. A good friend recomended that we stop by on our way to South Florida and he was right. We have stopped there three times now and have no regrets. I really love their grilled wahoo or their broilled scallops. My wife loves the broilled plater. The kids loved the fried shrimp and look forward to going. Service was great as well but if you go in the evening expect to wait a little bit but it is a great environment and the beer is cold so ejoy. Oh yea, they make there own tarder and cocktail sauce and they are great.

I love Peg Leg's, but so does everyone else; can be a bit of a wait during peak times. Try the broiled seafood platter; delicious.
