Welcome to Windy Mountain Horse Farm, home of the famed Peruvian Paso and many other breeds ! We are located in picturesque upstate New York, a land graced by rolling hills and spectacular autumn displays. Our farm boasts 300 acres and lies adjacent to 500 acres of state land, perfect for trailing. Windy Mountain Horse Farm is family owned and operated. Bob and Jody Paoletti, have more than 20 years experience in boarding, breeding and training top quality Peruvian Paso show horses. They know that once you have met and ridden a Peruvian Horse, the love affair has begun! Known for its ‘Champagne’ ride, the Peruvian Paso is the smoothest gaited horse in the world. It truly is the Rolls Royce of riding horses. Descended from the horses of the Conquistadors, Peruvian horses possess the royal heritage of the Spanish breeds. Owners treasure the breed's “brio,” which describe the Peruvian's spirit, confident presence, elegant appearance, and kind willing heart - all of which endear the handsome horses to their owners. We also offer boarding and permanent homes for retired racehorses and police horses. With acres of gentle pastureland to roam in and miles of trails to enjoy, your horse will be in equine heaven. Our resident lady ‘Horse Whisperer’, Tammy Conover, will pamper your horse and tend to its every need. Horses are our passion and we echo the sentiments of Winston Churchill when he said “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.”

We will be posting updates and pictures on our new website (link to be included here soon¿) The Arena will be 100 x 200 and feature a comfortable environment for exercising our resident horses as well as hosting world class shows. Amenities will include 20 stalls, a wash bay with hot and cold settings, tack room and med room. Trucking is available for transporting your horse to our farm. We look forward to meeting you and your horse, or helping you become the proud owner of an elegant Peruvian Paso!
